Saturday MEMO's
« on: Aug 15 - 2009 »
How Sad,
The poison little Draaawf!!! strikes again poisen b--tard . you can go out for a pint in your local if you choose but to leave your vehicle your'e faced with the dilema of getting your local Landlord the sack ( Saturday Morning MEEMO )  Pity the Humph doesnt think like that when he's on tour around  his estate wreaking havoc wherever he goes over the limit but getting away with it.
Hardly good promotional stuff for the North Yorkshire Police's 95 alive campain on responsible driving is it, But hey who said the Brewery were to be Law Abiding and responsible (the law according to Mr Smith )
Watch out FOB
Watch out Humph

Does that mean you can't drive to the pub for a quickie, get too much, decide to walk home and leave your car in the pub car park?

Not according to the MEEMO but abviously discretion must apply!!! Humphreys Law. So to letter no you cant, but God help your Landlord if they have had some sort of dissagreement, they might get a visit.

Sorry mate, don't quite get this. If what I said applies, this is definitely a national press issue!!!!

But maybe I've misunderstood you?

Perhaps your right !! no vehicles to be left overnight ETC!!! no locals to leave vehicles by arrangement God knows what the Landlord does if he has visitors. some would say i am out of order blowing this but it leaves the landlords wide open. Sorry

No worries mate. If this is the case it really will cause some fun, I'm sure. As you said, under the drink drive laws, it's a joke.
Can anybody provide documentation? I'll happily send it to the people who may be interested.

Sorry, I can only presume that a memo has gone out saying no-one can leave their cars overnight? Is that the fine detail? How have they suggested that the managers enforce it? Am I missing something from this thread, it seems as though a post is missing that explains what has happened. Either that or I am being incredibly dim!!! Has anyone else had this memo? More info please, because it could seriously affect the drinking habits of a number of my friends.
