I have heard that they still use the shire horses to deliver beer locally but how many actual horses do they have and do they breed from them.

SS have only two shire horses which do still deliver beer to their pubs in Tadcaster and the two horses can be seen in their stables which are situated at the rear of the Angel and White Horse next to the brewery.

Just wondered if anybody knows what time the Shire horses deliver the beer? Do they drop everyday during the week?, and which pubs do they actually deliver to assuming its just Tadcaster

They deliver at about 9am to the Hare and Hounds in Stutton, and I do believe it's on a Friday. Maybe you can ring the pub up and check.

I would say that they only go to Stutton because it's on a quite road but the horses do have a bit of a pull up the hill over the A64. I don't think even H S would get away with his horses trotting down the M62 into Hull
