I have said on numerous occasions, that I'm quite surprised that Humphs blatantly upsets so many, but seems to carry on as if he is idestructable. He is certainly much braver (or blinder?) than I could ever be.
The problem is, that when our legal system no longer supports 'the man in the street' in a dispute with Humphs - then Humphs is heading into dangerous territory - and should be much more careful.
For example; lets just assume that Humphs was to return to his car, and find it thourilly vandalised, and covered in abussive grafitti. Now I would also assume that he would report the incidence to the Police, and expect them to investigate the crime.
Can you imagine Humphs reply (if being entirely honest) to this question from the Police? "Can you tell us Mr Smith, if you know of anyone who may have any grievance or anger against you?"
I think the Police might just then consider - if told truthfully - that they didn't have the resources, or could justify the tax-payers expense to question so many hundreds of people!
On another issue - I wonder if Humphs will get visits from 3 ghosts before Christmas?
