Transport Manager - Gone

My Jungle Telegraph tells me the latest Transport Manager is no longer in post as of yesterday.  OS has added another hat to his collection & word on the street is some draymen ain't happy about it.

Sorry, I forgot to mention - he had been in post for just under 12 months.

I think you will find that it is now " unofficial" company policy to hire managers or anyone else for that matter and then sack them when it gets close to them completing 12 months in employment, this way he can sack without giving any reason. once you have 12 months under your belt it is alot more difficult for him to sack you. You only need to look at how many managers get sacked just before their 12 months is up.
