(Blimey Twelvetrees, have you turned over a new leaf?  That comment actually made sense!    Can't see it happening though - the thought of forking out for all those tellys, licences, PRS licences will have Humphrey in hospital!)

Have it on good authority that Humph has actually asked some managers their opinions as to how much the world cup will affect trade this summer(all the matches are on terrestriel channels).  The licences are reletively cheap and I dont think the PRS count for tellies.  Word has it that(as has been said before) that it may be selected houses only.  In truth he should have been selective in the first place.

Well, just been for a pint of OBB in a pub I happen to be passing and everyone is enjoying an afternoons racing on the tele! I'd better not say where, as I guess it's just an 'informal' arrangement.

I see your point ONLY ME but i think the manager will know the pitfalls of what he is doing, there are managers doing all sorts of things  humphrey has forbidden them to do, one manager i talk to just does not care any more hump has worn him down he knows his days are numbered,so he just goes from day to day doing the odd thing that hump would object to just to feel that he has won a very small victory. He knows full well thats its only a matter of time before he is on his way.

I realise that some if not most managers just don't care about brewery policies, but unfortunately they are also required by law! If caught by the authorities He will face large fines, he could lose his licence and get a criminal record. (That'll show Humphs, won't it.)

Has Humph or Oliver got any interest in the World Cup themselves because if they have they might want to let fellow football fans enjoy it in their pubs and make a bit more money as well.More beer gets supped when a big match is on
