Agreed! - that does not look like a Sams pub - trouble is I can't remember where I got the initial reference from. Of course something to bear in mind is that just because it has a different name over the door - does not mean Humphrey does not still own it. As has been mentioned in relation to the Moorcock Inn - sometimes he leased pubs to Timothy Taylors and then took them back in house. The Black Horse may be the same - now leased out. There is absolutely no evidence that Humphrey sells anything willingly - so until we get confirmation it might have to go into the category of 'non pub estate.'
