No more lemons

Apparently a memo has been sent out to all managers informing them that lemons are no longer to be supplied and that managers may not buy their own and claim the money back.  Anyone else heard this one?

Yeah onthedrink, the memo came out some weeks ago. Seems thats another nicety that humph dont like.....

Only one pub in London placed a slice of lemon in my wife's lime & soda.

We got a memo saying that we could not order lemons  from the brewery any more, but it did not say we could not buy lemons, the reason being that there is too many additives in the lemons we where using, I have bought lemons and put it through the paper work for the last 4 weeks, and nothing has been said about it.

While I was in London I was told it was the lemon slices in tubs that the managers was told they could not use.

Something about additives being used in the processing.
