The fact that his car was there during a working day may mean different things.  Apparantly the car he drives is a pool car, so it could be that he was at the brewery, or it could be that he isn't working at all, hence the car being there.
(Hope it's the latter).  The web site and a different attitude to bonus payments could hopefully mean either a change of attitude from him, or a different person in charge.
We live in hope.

Whats the change in bonus policy, as quite a few of the managers i know have not hit targets of increased sales and the 5% surplus.

still selling cockles etc in pubs round here (tameside near manchester) and smoked haddock for sunday brekkie (ugh!), same guy been doing it for years,tells terrible jokes while on his rounds but smashing fella, has bags of sweeties too, so if you don`t want chippy on way home you can have midget gems or whatever

Heard today that Humphrey was meant to visit the Harewod Arms Hotel,Harewood last night but didn't turn up.Apparently this is because he is at the Mental Hospital in York, anyone else know about this.

Heard loads of rumours but nothing confirmed at all. Each tale does have Humphrey associated with a mental hospital to a greater or lesser degree, but I suppose that is hardly surprising. Would be interesting to know the truth though.

I have heard is that he often books himself in bootham mental hospital in York, but this time was put in by the local authority, to see if he was of sane mind, as he had been arrested lately,for looking through bins at one of his pubs to see if the manager was selling products that are not sam smiths, apparently the police approached him asked him what he was doing and when he tried to explain who he was and what he was doing they said yes and we are bat man n robin, your nicked mate for vagrancy,not sure if its all true?

Bit like the story of the bobbies picking him up for looking through pub letter boxes to make sure there's no 'lock ins'. Both wonderful stories to add to the legend that is Humphrey Smith. I do hope they're true.............but the whole thing is very sad also if indeed he is deteriorating mental health wise. What on earth can the family do as it seems there are only two shareholders - I assume getting someone declared unfit to hold office is a legal nightmare - Court of Protection involved?

I have to say I've not seem him for weeks, but I'm not in Tad during working hours.
