Since when did paying managers below the minimum wage count as a credit for providing jobs? Also where was the security for the South Yoorkshire managers sacked for refusing to implement excessive staff cuts, Frank Marshall had 25 years service with the Brewery and he was sacked without a second thought.

As for managers in favour of Humphrey, Ican only presume they haven't yet had the benefit of his personal attention!

Humph, I can't say Mr Smith because that infers respect, how can you treat people in such a way.  You ruin not just the lives of those who flog their guts out for you and produce thousands in net profit, but the lives of extended families.  You play silly games with employment law and interpret things to suit yourself.  Just because you are one of the richest people in the UK - you do not have the right to do so.  I can say that if I see or find out that Humph or his family have done anything remotely illegal I will ensure that it becomes public knowledge.  Just make sure that you park in the right places, watch what you say, etc.  I have never felt so furious about anyone before.

Let me now move onto the people who work for you.  The ones who help you do your dirty low tricks.  How can they sleep at night knowing that they are punishing innocent people whose only mistake was to work for you.  Like one or two people on this site, they once thought you were an honourable man who told the truth.  Humph I have to point out that this was very short-lived.  Perhaps you had better tell your creeping supporters that they need to watch their backs - you can never tell when your face no longer fits and it's curtains for their home and livelihood.

Why can't you see that the world is not made up of people who want to upset you in one way or another.  Other companies don't have all this trouble.  It's you who is at fault.  You desperately need training in how to manage people, how to run a pub, what the going rate is for the job.  It's not hard to be a good manager and there are people out there who you could employ to do a better job.  You also need to find out how to read a profit and loss account and exactly what net profit means.

I would be devastated if people thought so little about me.  Most of your managers think you are stupid, customers know how you treat managers and as a consequence ask for their pint topping up, thus depriving you of your extra profit and leaving managers open to your weird and wonderful legal games.

Humph, grow up, accept your wealth and employ staff who know what they are doing.  Finally, just retire and watch your empire grow.  Why don't you enjoy your family or is there a reason you don't want to.

It would be great to finish by wishing you luck.  I can't.  I just want you to feel the same as you have made other people feel.  A sickly feeling, runs caused by stress, weight loss, loss of pride and self-respect and homeless.  My gran used to say "what goes around comes around" and "do as you would be done by". :'(

It's hardly surprising that it's beginning to catch up on him, and what goes around comes around, he will get zero sympathy from most on this site.
Beware the toes you tread on today are not attached to the leg that supports the arse that you are gonna have to kiss tomorrow.

Minae Property Management is a property protection specialist dealing specifically within the vacant property sector. We pride ourselves on our quality of service, our commitment through our professional property management and exceptional value for money.

The Minae method of protection utilises live in occupants which are managed by us through stringent vetting criteria and placed under our licence to occupy a space within the premises. This constant in use status of the premises acts as a deterrent to any would be thieves looking to remove anything of value from the property as well as having an onsite presence to dissuade any vandals or squatters.

The value for money aspect means that we can save on average around ?100000 per year on a clients present security costs. Based on a 24/7 manned guard on site at around ?2000 per week.

As a cost comparison we would only charge in the region of ?50- ?150 per week as a management fee for a small to large premises in any area of the UK.

There are other conventional methods of securing vacant premises by using steel shutters or blinds or mobile patrols. Steels cover all windows and doors and means of entry, however can be breached if the property is left unguarded. This can also prove to be an expensive exercise given that the steels are merely rented from the supplier. The unwanted attention aspect with graffiti and knowledge that the premises is completely empty can serve to attract drug users and squatting in some cases and further asset devalue.

Patrols are based upon a cost per visit and on average are ?11.00 per visit.

Our ability to manage all types of property and specifically tailoring the service to you ensures peace of mind while operating within any client budget constraints.

Current market conditions have dictated fluctuations for all businesses dealing with property. The constant worldwide financial changes have had a severe effect throughout the UK and these market trends create challenges for many types of client, particularly with vacant premises.

The problems of a vacant building are well documented and issues of theft, vandalism and in some cases squatting create additional difficulty when trying to sell, develop or even maintain current market value. In this regard cost is a vital component for property protection. Minae Property Management ensures value for service while retaining asset value.

Please contact me direct for a discussion on our services and I would be happy to arrange a free no obligation quote for you.

Coops - nice idea - but you're definitely barking up the wrong tree with Humphrey! He nails them all up tight and just takes the risk of the odd break in.

I was working on the idea tha it would be even cheaper to do this rather than nail them shut and make the area look grim as well as attracting all the other unsavouries!!! I also can;t believe there is no website??!?

Cheers for the advise and sorry if anyone thinks this is spamming.

Dear Mr Humphrey.
While I have every sympathy for the people who write on this website, and believe me I have been on the end of one of your clear outs, i have to say my thoughts of pity are with you. On the occasions I have met you I have felt only saddnes for a man who is totally alone in this world. I feel you are doing what you are doing just to get attention whether it is good or bad any attention will do. With all your money you will spend all your days the same, the people you have hurt will come from this stronger and much happier with friends and family who love and admire them for what they are and that is kind and hard working people who care for others. I know you read these comments and I can see you reading them and laughing at the threats and hurtfull things people say about you because thats what you want it gives you a reason to be like you are, hurtfull. I also know you attend church on a regular basis, maybe you need to put into practise what the scriptures teach us. Good luck

As a customer  I cant complain, my wife and myself have been going to the York Arms for just over a year, the beer is good and so is the price, no music, no frills, we've made some good  friends and now consider this to be our local even though we are an hours bus ride away. We have had meals there, no complaints, it's pub grub not arty farty rip off resturant priced meals. So I wouldn't knock the hand that pulls my pint. Catch puzzle, what is the plural off pint?, literally speaking?
