Sam Smiths Crap Pubs

From reading this website I can see that all the SamSmiths pubs are now equally as sh*t as my local one,The Anerley Arms.
The same ridiculous policies that have been introduced across the board have made all S.S. pubs now the same.....sh*t.
I've been going in this place for 25 years,I used to DJ Friday nights to a packed pub,my son and many of my friends have worked there.
I have lost count of the different people that have tried to run the place,I have barred MYSELF four times in protest at the amateur people that have been brought in.
If H.S. has the idea to run the business down and sell the estate for housing,he wants to think again.
Round my way,three of my other locals have been demolished for supposed housing.
One got half built and is now a derelict site,another cant even get the go-ahead to build,another is a load of crap box flats that they could'nt sell even if there were buyers!.
All projects that are a detriment to my community.
Numerous others pubs have been boarded up for years.
As far as I'm concerned,my other local pubs are gagging for mine and my mates custom and you know what?,they're going to get it because the Anerley Arms has been deliberately run into the ground.
The management cant be arsed,the place is a stinking hovel that has'nt seen a lick of paint for 18 odd years.
All stupid changes are made with scant regard to the few "regulars" that are left,this once beautiful,vibrant community hub has been run into the ground.
What saddens me is the fact that this once great place will never be the same again,it's not just SamSmiths though,it's all pubs.
Smiths policies are sure to accelerate the demise of the pub trade.
I hope HS reads this,tries to find out who I am and tries to bar me,I could'nt give a toss.
I gave up caring years ago,I only go in there now to see just how bad he has let things get and to see if any of the old regulars are in,but they're not!
I feel sorry for any management couple in charge of a S.S. pub...,they're not allowed to do what they know they should.

no, if they were sams they would just be boarded up for 30 years or so.

i think your being unfair about all sams pubs being s--t holes i drink in rochdale and there are some clean pubs take the town centre pub for instance the roebuck its spotless it needs decorating but you cant fault the managers they keep it clean.

Is that the Roebuck on Yorkshire Street Rochdale? Can you name any other Sam Smiths pubs in Lancashire that we are not aware of? Cheers.

there are loads in the town  ie the eagle,  the nelson,   the corporation,  the jockie,   the bridge in the ally,   the bay horse,   the brown hill,   the alpine gastoff,   the star inn,  the black dog, the white lion, and a few more.

The sad thing is that all pubs are now too pricey. My next door neighbour has his mates round most saturday nights for a game of darts and they all bring cans of beer with them and that works out alot cheaper than going to a pub and this sort of thing will be happening all over the country. One thing in Sam Smiths pubs favour though is that they tend to be cheaper than other pubs selling other types of beer but it is still expensive to go out drinking.
