i have just read the jobs paper.. and they are advertising for an area manager in it... also they are advertising for people to run the Beverley Arms in Scunthorpe.. which i thought was a sams pub...  hmmmm what is he doin

i don't think he's ours. i don't think he'd want his job back. i wonder if ours is actually an area manager or just a messenger

there isnt a sams pub in scunthorpe called the beverley arms, but there is 1 called the berkeley hotel which has just got a new manager in.

let me double check... and ile write in both adverts i saw... its the big on thats on the roundabout... my husband did a relief their once...  the only other sams pub in scunthorpe is the sherpa.. lovely place and fab managers...

the big 1 on the roundabout is the berkeley hotel, and there are actually 7 sams pubs in scunthorpe.

The berkeley hotel, the pig and whistle, the sherpa, the open hearth, the queen bess, highfield house and cole street club.

when u do get to talk to one all they say is no or i,ll get back to u then ignore your calls for weeks, try using someone else`s fone,they don`t recognise the number, so they answer it`s magic!!
