The site was offline for a while tonght, not another attack I hope.

Unfortunately, attack attempts continue daily, as the pathetic individual responsible, uses different routes of attack (open proxy servers).

A Server upgrade was implemented yesterday by our hosting company, to assist with combating the attacks, and have a OPS Honeypot Trigger - which basically means the attacker is sooner or later going to make an attack via a route which will be one of many traps set up around the Internet, on a daily basis.

However, from the brewery's perspective - the sustained attack are beginning to back-fire.

The increased site traffic has been assisted by the attacker - making this website's rank, even higher in the eyes of the major Search Engines. This basically means that this site is becoming more visible - and much easier to be found from weaker search requests - worldwide.

I bet the patsy who is doing someones dirty work, didn't tell them that!  :D

Well, we suffered a further attack between 0809hrs and 0938hrs. I also have it on good authority, that these attacks are by instruction of HS (maybe he would like to comment?).

Anyway, that being the case, whilst I'm not a suffering member of his staff, although somewhat affected by his regime as a customer - as the website owner, I'm now taking these attacks as personal - and if HS knew anything whatsoever about me, he would be well aware that I am one of the last people he wants to upset.
