Old news now - but for those who didn't already know..
The Samuel Smiths Old Brewery has banned
all music. From all of their establishments (unless you know otherwise - but don't get anyone into trouble!).
The ban includes not only recorded, but live music (even non-copyrighted music which would not require a PRS License), and even customers singing Happy Birthday. Whistling is also out!
Any cars on their premises (car parks) will be asked to leave, with their occupants facing a possible ban, if their music (from their vehicle) can be heard outside of their vehicle on or/and in the Sam Smiths premises.
So it's good to know that the 'Old Brewery' are maintaining 'old' traditions!!!!!
