e cigarettes only give off water vapor with no chemicals in.

I have to say that it looked very much like smoke to me. It was not white but grey and looked and acted like smoke.
e cigarettes only give off water vapor with no chemicals in. They are not illegal to smoke indoors its up to the managers disgression correct me if im wrong but this is what i understand.

They are not illegal, but from a staff point of view they can cause confusion.  Also, a smoker can sneak in next to an e-smoker.

no, smoker or none smoker you can smell when someone sparks up in a smoke free area a mile off. e cigarettes put of a very sweet fresh scent plus i think e cigarettes look nothing like the real thing anyway!

The chap was maybe 10 yards away and we could not smell anything. It just looked strange to see someone using one in a pub.

As I said, don't prat about, have fags, E or real, or don't. Do you want to walk into a pub and get served, or wait whilst the staff go front of bar to check wether a fag is real or not?

They do seem strange and legal everywhere apart from been allowed in a Sam's pub. That is one of the first ones that do look like a real cigarette. Some of teh newer ones are black or silver, with a green or blue led on the front. They only smell if they have a flavoured vapour eg coffee. But only when the first few puffs are taken.

Staff in other pubs have had problems with them and stopped people using them. Generally they seem to have been accepted.

I wish that I could get a decent pint of Old Brewery Bitter on cask at the moment.

Been playing about on the laptop before leaving for Taddy and I've found this......................

http://www.ecigarettestore.co.uk/pubs.php

It's a list of pubs that allows the use of Electronic Cigarettes in Britain.  It must be the shortest list in history.

Think they were barred from all the pubs on the Isle of Mann a few years ago. Not sure if it's the case now.
