Funnily enough, probably like lots of others and you too. we also saw our lovely pub as the start of something new and at last something good was happening.
It was in a fantastic town, with wonderful people and the future seemed bright, alas it was not to be, the dream was shattered by tyranical management, long hours and no light at the end of the tunnel.
Fortunately we had the resources and the good sense to sack them...long before they ever had the chance to f--k us over, as we had taken the pub at short notice I refused to pay a bond, so they didn't even have that hold on us either.
As I said we were fortunate because I have a vast experience of management at a higher level than most of the area managers at Sams and there is no way I would ever let the tw-ts get the upper hand.
But like everyone else I couldn't win the whole game, they always win that one, we jumped before they had a chance to push.
You are certainly not alone, as you can see from this site there are plenty of us, and we all wish you the very best of luck, I am sure I can speak for the majority and say that you will get full support and advice should you need it.
