Well a full twelve months have passed for the taproom curtain in the Greyhound in Altham nr Accrington, hanging off the rail.
"Not my job" says Eddie the feckless scouse manager....
"What you expect someone to come across from Tadcaster to repair it?" says I " You managed to put a few screws in the wall for the darts scoring gizmo"
Well the coat hooks and backboard have come off the wall now, after all bluetac doesn't have an infinite life..... so we are organising a spread betting syndicate for when that gets fixed.

Don't hold your breath waiting for the repairs mate! Anyway if things carry on the way they are, it looks like it might be "curtains" for all of us ;)

You are missing the point El Nino... 12 months and the present Manager can't be arsed to smarten up his own gaff....... I know there are some hard working and consientious Managers working for this Smithsshower.... BUT Eddie the Scouser in the Greydog doesn't fall into that category by any stretch of the imagination......

The Greyhound got a visit from the aging Bisto Kid last Tuesday. Much bowing and scraping and tugging of his non existant forelock by Scouse Eddie. Tables polished!! Glasses wiped !!! He (Humph) is managing Dave Bessies pubs now... heaven forefend the North West !!!

Just an update.....Greyhound in Altham

Curtains did get mended, Taproom got redecorated and Strip of carpet that was morphing into tarmac in the frontbar dug up and wood boarding put down..... progress at last...
Humph takes over after sacking Dave Bessie' and THEN it's all downhill from there...

Feckless Eddie now doing Aftertime sessions and allowing smoking in the taproom into the early hours.... Humph must have lost another of his senses when he visits if he can't smell the fug of stale tobacco!

JettaP ; All I ever read is you complaining and calling the manager of the Greyhound, Altham nr Accrington. You called both him and his bar staff for so called feeding a dog with Ice and attached a photo. Well sorry MR **** a dog with its .pours on the bar do not constitute proof of anything, and could be construed as libellous. I think you should stop being such a wimp get a life and stand up and be counted MR ****** ( Your real life name) or someone just might place a few links on here about your computer history... and I am sure you would not like that ...
Just to remind yourself of one of your Twitter friends  and follow this link ***** So you?re not as squeaky clean as you make out...
Get A life and stop complaining
